We all experience challenges in LIFE
We all experience challenges in life and need help from time to time to work through areas where we get stuck, and problems that we have a difficult time working through on our own.
I primarily work with couples and individuals, utilizing emotionally focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
I have completed the emotionally focused therapy for couples (EFT) externship training as well as additional training in emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT) and emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT). I am also a certified facilitator for the Prepare-Enrich marriage assessment as well as the SYMBIS premarital assessment.
Growing up in a blended family, I have learned the importance of the unique aspects of building relationships in this environment. My wife and I have been married for over twenty years and have two amazing teenage children. Working intentionally to have a healthy marriage and family is a significant priority in our lives.
I have served as a volunteer and as a ministry staff member for over thirty years, including a significant portion of this time as a pastoral counselor. I am well acquainted with ministry burnout, staff conflict, and other ministry-related challenges.
I have over a decade of experience as a mid-level manager in a metro-Atlanta based commercial/industrial construction firm. This experience has provided me with a valuable perspective on navigating work/life balance and managing work-related challenges.
I am licensed in the State of Georgia as a LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor. In-Person sessions will be held at the Woodstock Counseling Ministry Building - 3380 Trickum Rd. Building 700 Woodstock, GA 30188.
